Creeping fig ( Ficus )

This very dramatic plant is a diva compaired to its ficus relatives. It must always remain moist, drying out with result with one dead plant. It does like humidity, so a pebble tray will do the trick, or even a direct mist of water. Most commonly sold as a hanging plant. Medium to high filtered light. Ficus plants also do not like to be moved, its best to think of where you want one, buy it, then leave it, or it might shed.

Pony tail plam

This is the easiest plant to care for. If you kill this plant there may be no hope for you. It likes low, medium or high light. It also likes to be watered or not watered. And just to add to my point my cat decided my make a nice little meal for herself out of the foliage and I had to cut it back quite a bit. What ever you do this plant will love, or maybe it just doesn't care.

Sting of pearls / sting of beads

This plant looks a little worn out, I really wanted one and it was the only one left. It is a trailing plant best used in a hanging container. Prefers full sun. This is a horrible example of the plant I highly recommend looking for other pictures.

splash plant / Dolka dot plant (Hypoestes)

Ah the splash plant. I love foliage plants with color! In my experiance they grow very fast and use a lot of water. High light is needed to keep the color, lower light creates a white and green leaf.

Mouse tail (rhipsalis horrida)

This plant likes filtered high light. It also likes higher humidity and warmer winter temps. then most cacti.  Water when soil is dry.

Cocoon plant (Senecio Haworthii)

I love this plant! It is covered in a light white fuzz. Water is really only needed when it starts to shrivel. It does flower a yellowish orange color and is lovely. It requires sun to part shade. Mature height is 6 to 9 inches tall.

Awl cactus (Gymnocalycium Mihanovichii) ' Hibotan '

So I bought this plant (and many others today) because for so long I have delayed doing so , because it seems everywhere you go, there they are. It is actually to seperate cacti plants. The top colorful cacti is grafted on to the lower. The life of the plant is shorter then most due to the bottom growing quicker then the top leaving the top without a home. The top plant cannot make its own chlorophyll so to survive it MUST be placed on a larger cacti that can make enough for two. This is not a South window lover, West will do. Water when soil is dry. Common name 'Moon flower'. Also comes in orange, red and yellow.

Rhipsalis (pilocarpa)

Most likey my favorite plant at the moment. ( Worst picture ever but,) It has really small feather like hairs that are arranged up all of the spines. It is a low light minimal water user.  This exact species is supposed to be quite rare, but my guess is since exotic angel plants are starting to propigate and sell them, they will be popping up a lot more.

Wonderful Jade!

This is one of the new plants I bought today. Jade is one of the easiest plants to care for, since they prefer to be left on there own with little help from you.  They don't require as much light as other succulents,  a West or East window will do. Although the brighter the light the more limes and pinks your plant will have. If left in lower light the darker the plant becomes. The plant can reach 4 feet tall and wide.Water only when soil is dry.
